Irena Steenstra (Piano – Violin Tutor)
Irena learnt piano and violin in Auckland from age of 5.
She sat her ATCL violin exam while still at school and went on to sit LTCL on piano. Was a memeber a National Youth Orchestra in 1984 .
Spent many years with Auckland Youth Orchestra and has been teaching privately for over 20 years.
She was 2nd in the National Mozart Piano Competition when 17yrs old.
